Dimension Lines
Change the Default Dimension Line Properties
Do the following:
- Click the Default Dimension Line Properties button to open the Default Dimension Line Properties dialog box.
- Set options in the Default Dimension Line Properties dialog box.
- Click OK.

Add Dimension Lines
Do the following:
- Click the Add Dimension Lines button on the toolbar.
- Click on the drawing area to place the start point.
- Move the mouse to draw the dimension line.
- Click on the drawing area to place the end point.
- Repeat steps 2 to 4.
- To finish drawing, do one of the following:
- Press the Escape key on your keyboard.
- Right-click on the drawing area, then choose Finish from the menu.
- Click the Pointer button on the toolbar.
Change a Dimension Line
Do the following:
- Click on one of the dimension line points (hold down the mouse button)

- Drag the point to the new position.
- Release the mouse button.
Move a Dimension Line
Do one of the following:

Method 1:
- Click on the dimension line you want to move (hold down the mouse button).
- Drag the dimension line to the new position.
- Release the mouse button.

Method 2:
- Select the dimension line, then use the keyboard arrow keys.
(Hold down the Shift key while pressing an arrow key to move faster.)
Duplicate a Dimension Line
Do one of the following:
- Right-click on the dimension line, then choose Duplicate from the menu.
- Select the dimension line, then click the Duplicate button on the toolbar.
Delete a Dimension Line
Do one of the following:
- Right-click on the dimension line, then choose Delete Selection from the menu.
- Select the dimension line, then click the Delete button on the toolbar.
- Select the dimension line, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
